What should I do if a problem occurs during the use of the differential pressure transmitter?
2025-04-07 12:44At AUTO Instruments, we always believe that the true value of products should be verified in actual working conditions. Recent feedback from field use has once again confirmed the stability and maintainability of the company's differential pressure transmitters in complex industrial environments. Whether it is measurement accuracy, signal transmission, or daily maintenance operations, these devices have withstood multiple tests of field applications.
During a certain inspection, the process personnel found that the pressure data in the central control system showed high, while the reading of the field pressure gauge was normal. The maintenance personnel immediately went to the site to check and confirmed that the value displayed on the transmitter LCD was consistent with the field pressure gauge. After further testing, it was found that the current output by the transmitter was low, resulting in deviations in the data collected by the central control system. The technicians judged that it was a circuit board failure. After replacement, the system display returned to normal, and the field and central control readings were consistent, and the problem was successfully solved.
At another use site, the operation and maintenance personnel found that the pressure data showed low, and this reading was consistent on both the central control system and the field instrument. After careful investigation, the technicians found that there was a small amount of residual liquid in the pressure pipe, which caused the pressure signal transmission to be blocked. The drainage operation was carried out on site in a timely manner. After cleaning, the pressure reading returned to normal, and the problem was solved. This situation once again reminds us that regular inspection and cleaning of the pressure pipeline is crucial to ensure the accuracy of the measurement data.
In addition, there was a case where the pressure value of a certain measuring point was completely lost. At that time, the operator found that there was no numerical feedback at this point on the DCS interface. The maintenance personnel immediately checked the signal circuit and found that the fuse on the terminal block had blown. After replacing the fuse, although the pressure signal was restored, further inspection found that there was an aging crack in an interface inside the junction box, causing the signal line to be accidentally grounded. Finally, by replacing the relevant cables and wiring terminals, the fault was completely eliminated, and the system operation returned to normal.
The above-mentioned on-site cases show that the differential pressure transmitter of Auto Instrument not only has good measurement performance but is also easy to maintain and locate faults. We always adhere to the important standard of "accurate use, fast inspection, and economical repair" of products as R&D and service. While helping customers improve operating efficiency, we also continuously promote the improvement and optimization of our own product system.
In the future, AUTO Instruments will continue to take root in the field, continuously improve the long-term reliability and adaptability of products in actual working conditions, and provide truly robust measurement solutions for more industrial users. Welcome everyone to actively communicate with us and provide feedback on product problems. We will solve them for you as soon as possible!
