AUTO Instrument Technical Team Visits Local Chemical Powder Manufacturing Plant
2025-03-12 09:13Recently, AUTO Instrument's technical personnel and management team visited a nearby chemical powder manufacturing plant. The plant has been utilizing AUTO Instrument's products, such as single flange pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, electromagnetic flowmeters, pipeline systems, and flow measurement solutions for many years. The purpose of this visit was not only to discuss existing issues but also to assist in planning for large-scale procurement during the plant's second-phase construction.
Analysis and solution:
After on-site inspection by Aute Instruments technical experts, the following factors may cause mismatched readings:
Too many pipe elbows: According to observation, there are five elbows near the electromagnetic flowmeter installed in the factory internal pipeline. This includes two 90-degree vertical elbows, which may seriously affect the stability of flow measurement.
Insulation problem: Due to the cold weather, the factory staff wrapped the flowmeter rod with cotton to prevent the low temperature from freezing. But as the weather gradually warmed up, the temperature increased, causing the cotton-wrapped rod to overheat. This may be one of the reasons for the inaccurate readings.
Pipe diameter mismatch: The factory staff said that the pipe diameter DN200 of the electromagnetic flowmeter is the standard size, but the factory's own pipe is slightly larger than DN200, so a gasket was used between the flowmeter and the pipe during installation. This pipe diameter misalignment may also cause inaccurate readings.
This on-site inspection gave the factory a clearer understanding of the problem and strengthened cooperation with Aute Instruments. The Aute Instruments technical team proposed an optimized solution to this problem to improve measurement accuracy and system stability. The two parties will continue to cooperate in the future, and we will improve the flow measurement system together. We try our best to support cost control and operational efficiency while ensuring that the equipment meets the factory requirements.
Most of the engineers of AUTO Instruments have decades of working experience. They have been working on project sites and customer factories for many years and are familiar with all kinds of working conditions. From installation and commissioning to after-sales service, every face-to-face communication with customers is a test of our products and ideas. Problems are not terrible, but what is terrible is that we cannot find the problems - this has always been a consensus of our technical team. It is this experience from the front line that has allowed us to gradually form a set of solutions that are more practical and more time-tested in the process of continuous correction and improvement.
